Behold , I give unto you power {authority} to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy; and nothing shall by any means hurt you.

Then He called His twelve disciples together, and GAVE THEM POWER AND AUTHORITY OVER ALL DEVILS, and to cure diseases. And He sent them to preach the kingdom of God, and to heal the sick.

And when He called unto Him his twelve disciples, He GAVE THEM POWER AGAINST UNCLEAN SPIRITS, TO CAST THEM OUT, and to heal all manner of sickness and disease. And Jesus sent forth, and commanded them saying, HEAL THE SICK,CLEANSE THE LEPERS, RAISE THE DEAD, CAST OUT DEVILS; FREELY YE HAVE RECEIVED, FREELY GIVE.

And He taught as one having authority, not as the scribes. 1.Authority means power in the Greek, Jesus taught with power and authority.

These things speak, and exhort, and rebuke with all authority. Let no man despise thee.

Paul, and apostle of Jesus Christ, by the will of God, to the saints which are at Ephesus, and to the faithful in Christ Jesus.

1. You are a saint established by God.

But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of Him who hath called you out of darkness into marvelous light. 1.You are a member of Gods royal priesthood, chosen and holy.

And if children then hiers,heirs of God, and joint heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with Him, that we may also be glorified together. 1.You are a joint heir with Christ, an inheritor of the kingdom and the promises.

But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of GOD, and not of us.

1.We may walk in and enjoy our inheritance here on earth, it is this treasure in earthen vessels, in us, and we do not have to wait for heaven to draw upon our account.

Now He which establish us with you in Christ, and hath anointed us, is God, 22; who hath also sealed us, and given the earnest of the spirit in our hearts.

1.You are established, anointed and sealed by God.

Ye have not chosen Me, but I have chosen YOU , and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain; that whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, he may give it to you.

1. You have been ordained by God, to bear much fruit, to serve the Lord and bring souls to the kingdom of God.

2.You have been chosen by God to do this.

But ye shall receive power after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you; and ye shall be witnesses unto me, both in Jerusalem, and in all Judea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.

1. You shall be a witness for Christ in all the world.

For we are laborers together with God; ye are Gods husbandry, ye are Gods building.

1.You are Gods fellow worker.

We can learn from these scriptures our power over the kingdom of darkness, is from the Lord himself. Who has given us power and authority over all devils, in all situations. We can also learn who we are in Christ, and that we are His fellow workers in the world today. We are His witnesses, chosen to bear much fruit, we are anointed and sealed by God himself. So we do not need to fear in battle, or fear whatever the Lord has called us to do, we have authority and power over all the power of the enemy.
