David

Look at David,,he is facing a big and mighty foe, a giant in fact.
Have you ever faced a giant? Maybe your big brother seems like a giant, or all that homework you have to do. Lets see what David did with the giant.
As big as that giant is, look at the one who is bigger yet still. It is Jesus standing behind that giant, He is ready to help David in a big way.
David knew God and so he was not afraid in battle. He did not defeat the giant by himself, he had the victory from Jesus.
David by himself was in trouble for sure, but God gave him the victory.
Jesus wins over bullies and giants for us too, today!!!
We can win like David did only if we trust Jesus to help us.
Then we don't have to be afraid or discouraged.
