Jewish evangelism brings to the Jewish people the good news that Jesus Christ is the Jewish Messiah. From the beginning, the Bible promised a Messiah (Genesis 3:15), a Savior for both Jews and Gentiles (Isaiah 49:6). The Old Testament Messianic prophecies foretold specific details about the coming Messiah so that He would be recognized when he came, including predictions about his birth, life, death, and resurrection. The Suffering Servant in Isaiah 53 is a powerful Messianic prophecy about Jesus Christ, who fulfilled the roles of suffering, atonement, and inter- cession described in the passage. It highlights Jesus' suffering and sacrifice for humanity's sins. After referencing the Old Testament prophecies, it is then confirmed from New Testament Scripture that Jesus Christ fulfilled all of the Messianic prophecies establishing him as the promised Jewish Messiah. The terminology used for Jewish evangelism includes: The Holy Bible: (The Hebrew Bible, The Hebrew Scriptures, the Tenach), The Old Testament: (Torah, the first 5 books), Tenach (Tanakh), the entire Old Testament.
