"Am I
good enough to go to heaven?" "How will I be judged? Have I done
enough good things to win my way to heaven? Maybe I should start being
nicer so God will like me better?" The Bible says: "There
is none good, no, not one:" [Romans 3:10] You mean no one is
"good enough" to go to heaven?! 'For
all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God" [Romans
3:23] Then nothing that I do, no great act of kindness can get me to heaven? |
No, because it's not what you do, but rather what He has already done,
that is the way to be saved! Who? Jesus Christ! Jesus has already done
the work of salvation! He died upon the cross, He shed His precious
blood for the forgiveness of sin----your sin!! You
see, the work is already done!! We cannot justify ourselves by good works."By
grace ye are saved through faith, and not of works..." [Ephesians
2:8] The grace of God is that Jesus has died in our place to forgive our
sin and give us the free gift.......of everlasting life in heaven! You
must only confess your sin to Jesus, and accept Him as your Savior! |
