Please read this message carefully and above all be totally honest with yourself. There are some facts regarding the fate of humanity that are unpleasant and unpopular, but they are facts nonetheless. So rather than avoid the truth let us have the character to accept it as it is, not distort it for our own convenience. First, not everyone will go to heaven when they die. The Bible tells us in Matthew 7:13,14 that few will find eternal life. The way is narrow, the gate is straight. One must live within the guidelines of the Bible in order to gain heaven and there just aren't many people willing to do this, to surrender their self will and obey God. God tells us that many will suffer destruction in hell, for they are on the broad path of life, not heeding His commandments. This does not fit some people's philosophy, but that does not make it any less true. (That's the bad news. Here's the good news: you do not have to follow the masses. God, through Jesus Christ, has made a way for anyone to secure Heaven. Read on.) Secondly, God requires true, absolute regeneration in order to be saved. John 3:3,5 states, "Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God." Also, Luke 13:3 states, " Except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish". Now to be regenerated, or born again, is to become a "new creature". (2Corinthians 5:17). No man becomes a Christian and stays the same. A complete turnabout takes place. One acts and thinks differently, his ambitions and desires change. THIS PROCESS MUST TAKE PLACE IN THIS LIFE IN ORDER TO LIVE THE SECOND LIFE IN HEAVEN. PLEASE DO NOT NEGLECT THIS, MY FRIEND, FOR THE CONSEQUENCES ARE ETERNAL. Are you genuinely born again? Are you living your life according to the commandments written in God's word? Ask yourself these questions and please be honest with yourself. The intent here is not to accuse, condemn, or shame anyone. It is simply a plea for you to think about your soul and where you stand in terms of salvation and eternity. If you are not on the road to Heaven you easily can be. Just confess your sins to Jesus, ask His forgiveness, and be willing to turn from all known sin. "If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness".(1 John 1:9). "Because he considers and turns away from all his transgressions that he has committed, he shall surely live, he shall not die."(Ezekial 18:28).
