"And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them. And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works. And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works. And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire" (Revelation 20: 11-15)

Now, either these Bible verses are true or they are not true--right? They say very clearly, that everyone who comes before this white throne will be judged by their works--by the things they have done--and everyone who is judged by their works--will go to hell! Read those verses carefully---first it say that there were books--which contained the works of those who are being judged---"the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works."--and then there is another book---The Book Of Life. "And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire." As I said friend, either this is true or not true. Either this event will happen, or it will not happen. If you are counting on your own works to save you from Hell, you are taking your own chances. You are betting that the Bible is not true, and this judgment day will not happen just the way it is described in the Bible. So the question that we must know is--How can I get my name written in the Book of Life? The names in the book of life are those who are the blood-bought children of God. Those who have confessed and believe that Jesus Christ is Lord.
