"For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows."

The love of money is the basis of many of the devils' plans...Now there are some very obvious plans in the world....such as the fact that people love money so much, that they have more than enough, while their neighbor is homeless..

It works on a worldwide basis as well... We see that the countries where the devil has a strong foothold (such as India, China, and the African nations) there always goes along with it, terrible poverty. And the real evil is the fact that those who have the money to feed the poor, love their money so much others have to suffer. It's very obvious that God created a world with more than enough for all people...so how come we don't just share it with one another? Why isn't this any kind of priority at all? It was Jesus who said to love your neighbor...and to feed the poor....... "Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself" (Matthew 22:39).....But when thou makest a feast, call the poor, the maimed, the lame, the blind" (Luke 14:13):...Of course we know that the devil loves to invert the scriptures and encourage people to do the opposite of Gods' will!

But the Enemies' plans for these end-times are much more extensive, insidious and far reaching...as he prepares for his last big fling before the Lord Jesus Christ puts an end to his influence on earth and casts the devil into the Lake of Fire...(personally I can't wait for the day!)

"No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon." (Matthew 6:24) God tells us not to serve mammon...so what is mammon...?

mammon........of Aramaic origin (confidence, i.e. wealth, personified);

1) mammon 2) treasure 3) riches (where it is personified and opposed to God)

Mammon is money! God tells us not to worship money! Now, if we ask most people if they worship money they will of course say no.. But I believe that it is difficult or nearly impossible to live in the world without worshiping money... because the devil has raised us up in a world that is centered on money. Money is at the root of much of our social condition...where we stand in society. We are judged and judge others by possessions and wealth! The Enemy has made this an integral part of our society. From the teenager who wants a cool car....to the 30 year old who has to keep up with the Joneses......to the elderly who live in false pride by boasting about their great financial achievements. Money is God! We must ask ourselves what are we proud of? What things do we put value upon in life? What gives us value as human beings? What do we put first??

The thing we put first is what we truly worship. No matter if we are rich or poor or in between, the devil has a myriad of plans and temptations to drive us to center our life around money. If you are poor he will bring about condemnation and threats.. and for the very rich he brings about fear of loosing or maintaining what you have.. But he puts most of us on a merry-go-round of never having enough...

....whether he tempts us with things we don't have, or applies social pressure to never be satisfied with what we have (let's not forget that our possessions are God's blessing!) And the basic monetary problems he brings affect our job (never can make enough!...I hate this boring dull stressful job!)....and then he gets into our family relationships through these difficulties...the ultimate goal is to make our relationship with God grow smaller and smaller and seem less and less important.

You know something?! One way to know what God wants you to do is to do the complete opposite of what the Devil is trying to tell you!

This is a chart of the order in which God and the Enemy would like you to prioritize your life... Now Jesus told us to love God first and then love your neighbor.. "Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets."(Matthew 22:37)....He also said to seek first His kingdom..."But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you."(Matthew 6:33)....God has a right way for us to live our lives...Him first!! Always! Every day! (not just on Sundays!) He says to seek first the kingdom...

How do we seek the kingdom? By knowing Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior... By entering into a living daily relationship with Him! Put Him first always! Rebuke the devils' plan for your life and live in Jesus' plan! He has a perfect plan.. He promises you life in abundance..."The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly." (John 10:10)

The devils' plan promises stress in this life and hell in the next! Turn away from Satans' plan...Put Jesus Christ at the center of your life!
