Every day -- every minute that passes by -- there are 2 events that draw closer and closer.....

1. Jesus is coming back........!

"Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come." (Matthew 24:42)

"Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh." (Matthew 24:44)

"Watch therefore, for ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man cometh." (Matthew 25:13)

In Matthew chapter 24-25 Jesus tells us repeatedly that no one will know the exact time when He will return to this world. There are many signs in the world right now that indicate His return is imminent. But, the one thing we can be certain of, is that with every passing moment, His return draws closer and closer. When Jesus comes back, it is too late to repent of your sin--too late to be saved! What will you be doing when he returns? Are you ready for this monumental event which could happen at any moment? Are you saved?

2. Your appointment....... "And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:" (Hebrews 9:27)

Each of us has an appointed time to die. None of us can be sure exactly when this time is. We see that people of all ages die suddenly--accidents, or sudden injury can strike at any moment. Whether we like to face it or not--we do not know the exact hour of our own death. Our appointed time can come suddenly, without warning. There may not be time to repent!

"......behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation." (2Corinthians 6:2)

Perhaps you have heard the message before....

"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved." (John 3:16-17).

"That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved." (Romans 10:9, KJV).

Perhaps you have heard the message of salvation before, but you have said--maybe later. I can go on living the way I am. I know I'm not living my life for Jesus--but I can ask Him in any time--right? Yes this is true. God's mercy is so great that anyone at any time can ask to be saved. But haven't you taken advantage of God's mercy long enough? Aren't you playing games with your eternal soul long enough? I've got some more news for you. When you are not saved, Christians look as if they are restricted in what they can do or say--like they are not free. But I'll tell you a secret-(and if you don't believe me, just ask any Christian)-when you get saved--you get free--!

"If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed." (John 8:36)

Now is the time for you to be set free! Today is the day of salvation!

Accept Jesus Christ as your Savior by saying this simple prayer: "Lord Jesus, I am a sinner. But I believe that you died upon the cross for me. That you shed your precious blood, for the forgiveness of my sin. And I believe that on the third day you rose into heaven to prepare a place for me. I accept you now as my Savior, my Lord, my God, my friend. Come into my heart, Lord Jesus, and set me free from my sin. And, because you are my Savior, Jesus, I "shall not die, but have everlasting life". Thank you Jesus!
