Then spake the woman whose the living child was unto the king, for her bowels yearned upon her son, and she said, O my lord, give her the living child, and in no wise slay it. But the other said, Let it be neither mine nor thine, but divide it. Then the king answered and said, Give her the living child, and in no wise slay it: she is the mother thereof. And all Israel heard of the judgment which the king had judged; and they feared the king: for they saw that the wisdom of God was in him, to do judgment. (1 Kings 3:16-28).

Now lets have an understanding of this story. Most people see this as an example of the great wisdom that God gave to king Solomon...which is true. Always remember that this story like every other one in the Bible actually happened and is literally true..However, as in many cases, the Lord has a further understanding behind these events. The most amazing thing in this story is that there is a woman, so consumed with hatred, jealousy and envy... that she would divide the body of the child with the sword! Now in Biblical terms, the sword is the word of God (the Bible)..and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God: (Ephesians 6:17)--- and the body is the body of Christ (the Church--all those who believe in Jesus as Lord and Savior). so the message is clear--there are those people who would divide the Body of Christ, by using the word of God!!

There are some who go about looking to criticize their Christian brothers and sisters over small doctrinal differences. I'm sorry to say this but I have seen some Christians believe that this is their ministry! I've diligently searched the Bible and cannot find the Ministry of Criticism listed anywhere!! The word of God is meant to edify..not to destroy! The Bible is meant to build up the body...the word of God is how we build our faith, and faith is how we live!

Let's stop criticizing one another and recognize who the real Enemy is! Pray for your Christian brothers and sisters! Help them grow strong in the Word! We can all live in the great victory that Jesus has won!
