Think About This....

And you know what--you can go your whole life and ignore God--you have your free will. God will never force you to be friends with Him. But when you turn your back on God, you turn your back on Jesus Christ, God's son. Because you see, God has provided a Way for you to be rid of the sin your were born into... "Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me." (John 14:6). "For if by the offense of the one death reigned by the one, much rather shall those who receive the abundance of grace, and of the free gift of righteousness, reign in life by the one Jesus Christ:" [Romans 5:17]

Jesus died upon the cross, He shed His blood to forgive your sin--to give you salvation... "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." (John 3:16). The "free gift" of eternal life in heaven, with God, in glory, in peace, in joy, in fullness of spirit, forever and ever!! "But shall not the act of favour be as the offense? For if by the offense of one the many have died, much rather has the grace of God, and the free gift in grace, which is by the one man Jesus Christ, abounded unto the many."[Romans 5:15] "Thanks be to God for his unspeakable free gift." [2Corinthians 9:15]

And He did it to be your friend! To give you a day to day personal relationship with God! "and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world." (Matthew 28:20) God has a plan for your life--a glorious, prosperous, joyful plan for your life... "Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God."

Or, if you want, you can stick to your own plan--You see He wants you to choose Him of your own free will.. He is calling you right now-! He wants to be your friend! Do you have a daily, living, personal relationship with God? Ask anyone who does--they would sooner give up anything, than loose their relationship with God--because they know that God is really all they need.. "Not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think any thing as of ourselves; but our sufficiency is of God;" [2Corinthians 3:5]

Have you taken that first step toward God? Have you asked Jesus Christ to be your Savior? Ask Him now!! Say this simple prayer from your heart...

Lord Jesus, you are almighty God. I want you to be Lord of my life. I am a sinner. I am not righteous and fall short of your great glory. But I believe that you have paid the price for my sin. Your death on the cross, the shedding of your precious blood washes away my sin. I want you to be my Savior, my Lord, my friend. Come into my heart now, Lord Jesus, set me free from the prison of my sin. And because I believe in you Jesus, I "shall not die, but have everlasting life," Thank you Jesus!
