This story is about you and me. It's about the church--us--all of us--Christ's body in the earth. This story is about the church--past present and future. And in the future--the church is getting it right.

What would it look like--if the church really got it right?

It looks like a lot of people--different people--with different gifts--yet with one purpose--the Gospel.

It looks like true brothers and sister--hand in hand--praying--searching God's will--asking what they can do for Him--right here and right now.

In prayer a word comes--and the interpretation of the word--the Holy Ghost speaks--

"REG 312/40th street"

"Okay, we know what we have to do"

"Don't forget to put your lights on guys."

As I said, this story takes place in the future, and in the future, people can fly (it's really no big deal)

"I've been viewing some history on the cybernet--all about the history of the sign ministry. Did you know this stuff goes way back?"

"Really?"

"Yeah, look at this guy from a few hundred years ago--they used to show up at golf matches with John 3:16 written on their shirt--and wearing that funny wig to grab attention!"

"What's golf?"

"Some kind of ancient sport--but they just wanted to get attention to the Gospel--just like us today!"

"Sign ministry has a weird history-!"

"Here we are, REG 312/40th street--okay--put the sign on--"

And inside REG 312--a busy office.....

"Not those religious nuts again--flashing that message--!"

But when God sends believers some place to sow the Word, it does not return to Him void but always accomplishes His purposes.

Because in REG 312, someone receives the message. Someone does the most important thing that anyone can ever do--open the Bible (in the future, a Bible that is fed directly to the mind thru what is known as the "cybernet"). Someone receives the simple Gospel--"for God so loved the world....." and the simple invitation to accept Jesus as Savior.

Inside REG 312, someone this day, says "yes" to Jesus--in their own words, by faith.

Salvation is as easy as that.

................Salvation from death....!

"You know, some times I wonder why the Lord has us do certain things."

"Well, don't forget, we're out there sowing seed. When you plant a seed, the harvest doesn't jump up and hit you in the face! But you're new to this brother. It's apostleship, it's being "sent" by God--to carry the Gospel wherever He leads. Jesus said wherever 2 or 3 are gathered together in may name, there I am in the midst. He was giving the central operational principle of the church--small groups of believers--like us--praying in the Spirit and carrying the Gospel out to the world. We do this on a daily basis--because the church in the Bible did it this way. You know about all the other groups like this all over, doing just this stuff. Today we sowed some seed--it may not be us that sees the harvest--it doesn't matter, Christ is the Head, He is working everything through all of us. It's just our job to be sent, as often as we can, to serve His will--to do ministry."

Here look..

"Now there were in the church that was at Antioch certain prophets and teachers; as Barnabas, and Simeon that was called Niger, and Lucius of Cyrene, and Manaen, which had been brought up with Herod the tetrarch, and Saul.
As they ministered to the Lord, and fasted, the Holy Ghost said, Separate me Barnabas and Saul for the work whereunto I have called them.
And when they had fasted and prayed, and laid their hands on them, they sent them away.
So they, being sent forth by the Holy Ghost, departed unto Seleucia; and from thence they sailed to Cyprus." (Acts 13: 1-4)

"See, they were doing just what we do, pray in the Spirit, be sent with the Gospel--that's it! That's the first and foremost ministry of the church, like it says in 1Corinthains 12--First apostles, second prophets...."

"Hey guys--look--come here--you're not going to believe this!!"

"....an apparent terrorist bombing, the group HNNS has taken credit......"

"......Again, repeating this late-breaking news, about 10 minutes ago, a bomb exploded at REG 312/40th street. The downtown building was rocked by the explosion, with that entire floor of offices destroyed. There are certainly many casualties, the number at this time is unknown....."
