    “Well, that’s good to hear too!” he replies. “I don’t know about you, but at least I believe from what I’ve read that when God saves us, He gives us eternal life.”

    “Actually, I do believe that too,” you tell him.

    “Hey, that’s cool. But I have to say, just as there are a whole lot of different opinions about God, people believe very different things about how to gain eternal life. For example, Jesus said ‘This is eternal life: that they know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent.1’”
